I received from New York State IRS form DTF-973.56. My Federal return I already received. Why am I getting this?

I have already filed and received my refund from Federal. I just received a letter from New York State, form is a DTF-973.56. I don't understand why I am getting this? It is asking for following amounts claimed on my return? I looked at my turbo tax amount made and my w-2 and they match. Don't understand what went wrong?

Nothing went wrong. New York does random checks for information and you are the recipient of that with the letter DTF-973.56 that they sent you. Follow the directions carefully and send them what they have requested. They will hold up your refund until they receive the information.

Why I received a DTF-973. 10-O and how do I fix it? Haven't received my state refund yet.
