I received federal and California tax return, but my status says pending, and I got an email saying . Our records show that the IRS hasn’t accepted your e‑file. Error?

You've received both refunds, but it still says pending in TurboTax or where?

It says pending in turbotax. I thought it was good since I received a federal and california tax return, but I received a text message, and email stating,

"ACTION REQUIRED

Our records show that the IRS hasn’t accepted your e‑file, which means your 2023 tax return hasn’t been filed." Then, I logged into my turbotax, and it says pending on turbotax. If I received a federal and california tax return, then doesn't that mean that my tax return actually has been filed, and approved?

Yes. Could be a technology error.

For sure, or is there a slight chance that I might be missing something? I'm mainly concerned about having to pay additional fees later. Turbotax didn't mention what I was missing, so everything looks okay other than that pending message. Moreover, I was not contacted by the IRS, so hopefully I won't receive further penalties. I actually owed money, and paid thousands back already, so I don't want to get penalized further. If it wasn't for Covered California insurance (1095A), I would have been over $5000 dollars richer based on these last 2 years, so I didn't get any money back after paying what I owed.

Just to be safe, you can check that your returns were received by using these instructions: Check the Electronic Postmark of your Return. Pay close attention to the separate lines for Federal and State. They are separate statuses.
