I received a refund on my 2017 federal taxes. Where do I enter it on my 2018 taxes?

You do not have to enter the refund of your 2017 federal taxes on your 2018 tax return. 

If you received any interest with your refund from the IRS then you will have to include this in the interest section in TurboTax.

  1. Login to your TurboTax Account 
  2. Click “Take Me To My Return
  3. Click on the Search box and type “1099INT”.
  4. Click on “Go to 1099INT”.
