You don't need it to file your Federal return, it is for your information to keep for your records.

Taxpayers who have non-Marketplace health insurance (their plan wasn’t purchased on healthcare.gov or a state Marketplace) may receive the new Forms 1095-B or 1095-C — these are receipts from private insurers or employers, confirming you had or were offered coverage. Check them for accuracy if you receive them and keep them for your records. You will not need them to file your 2015 tax return.

You don't need the 1095-B or 1095-C form to enter your information. The program will ask you about your insurance coverage, Form 8965 will be included with your return with your information.

If you receive a 1095-A form you need the form to enter your information, the program will ask you about your Marketplace coverage from your 1095-A form. Then that information will be sent with your return.

I am confused. The information states that you "must report" the coverage from my state (Oregon) on my federal income tax return.  Like the original question, I already filed.  Form 1095-B isn't a confirmation that a private insurer or employer gave me or offered me insurance. It shows my Oregon Health Plan information, insurance that I did have.  Like I said, I am confused.  "Must" I report this as it states in the letter?  How if taxes are already filed?

@twinsoniclab 1095-B is for your records, you don't need it to enter your information.  The program will ask you about your coverage.  You check the form for accuracy and keep it for your records.
