I put the wrong account number down and my bank dont have my retune.the irs has sent my return already what can i do and how long should i expect it

If you put the wrong account number, the bank will reject your refund and send it back to the IRS.

The IRS will send you a paper check in the mail. It can take up to two weeks to receive the check from the IRS.
