I paid Personal Propery taxes last year but I don't see where I list that amouont in my tax form.

I paid Personal Propery taxes last year but I don't see where I list that amouont in my tax form.

Personal property tax is reported on Schedule A Itemized Deductions line 5.  State and local taxes are subject to a $10,000 reporting cap.

 

In addition, if your tax return claimed the Standard Deduction, Schedule A will not be present in your tax return.

For deducting PP taxes, you need to use Itemized deductions, not the Standard deduction,
