Hello. I e-filed with Turbo Tax on Oct 15. I have been waiting to see my Total Amount Owed show up on the IRS site but it just shows "INFO" under the heading "You Owe" for 2022. I can now see my 2022 transcript so does this mean the Tax Return has been processed/completed? I owe $xxxx as shown on the actual Tax Return so why isnt it showing under Total Amount Owed as I have made no payment towards 2022 taxes.

Why did you not pay when you filed your tax return? You are now subject to late penalties and interest, for which the IRS will bill you when they receive your payment for the amount shown on line 37 of your Form 1040.
If you have federal tax due you can pay by mailing your payment with the 1040V voucher, (which has the address printed on it, having the payment taken out of a designated bank account, or you can pay directly on the IRS website.

You must pay your state tax due using the state’s preferred method of receiving payment. For most states that will be by making a payment to the state’s own tax website, or by mailing a check or money order.

Thanks but you didn't answer my question AT ALL and instead got all judgemental and didn't answer 1 of my questions.
I was waiting for the penalties to be added to the total for one, two, turbo tax credit card fees were alot so chose not to pay when I e-filed and three, none of your business. Why comment if you are unable to answer the questions?
If you can't answer the question (you didn't answer even one of my queries) , than maybe move on to a question you can answer next time.
TurboTax cannot and will not calculate late penalties. The IRS will do that after they receive the payment that was due on the filing deadline. It will continue to increase if you wait. The IRS will base the interest and/or penalties on how much you owed and when they receive a payment from you.
OK thank you. I was actually waiting for the IRS to post the amount I owe including penalties and THAT is why this post was started. I owe $xxx but it doesn't show the amount I owe on the IRS site. THAT is why I was asking about it. So even though it doesn't show I have a balance due, I should just pay it? Again. You would think it would show the amount I owe on my account on the IRS site but it shows "INFO" and not a balance due. Thank you.
Yes---pay the amount as shown on your Form 1040 line 37 if you can. Any extra interest or penalty amount will be billed later.
