I need to file my 2015 and 2016 tax returns. Can I do that online?

It's too late.  You will have to print them out and mail them in.  You may want to use a mail service with tracking numbers, and remember to put the different years' federal and state returns  in different envelopes.

You are asking from TT desktop. You cannot use the 2016 program to prepare 2015, or vice versa

Be sure to mail each year separately.  You should have 4 envelopes.
