I mailed my taxes without the W2 can I e file to correct it. What should I do next?

I enter all the income and taxes witheld but forgot to put the W2 in the envelope.

Just sit tight for now.  You cannot file an original return twice, even if one is paper and the other electronic.  If the IRS questions the W-2 income, you can reply to their letter with a copy of the missing W-2.
