I mailed in my amended return over 3 weeks ago and there still not on file

I keep trying where's my amended return and it says the following:

Your amended return information is currently unavailable in this application. It takes up to 3 weeks for an amended return to show on your account. You can generally expect your amended return to be processed within 16 weeks from the date we receive it. Check the date you filed your amended return and try again later.

It's been well over 3 weeks and no go.  I know it won't be done, obviously, but no recognition it is there.  I know it is there.  I have postal receipt.

The IRS is very backlogged and mail is very slow.   They might not have even opened your mail yet.

I have LITERALLY been attempting to find out where my 1040X went from 2019. My Accountant sent it in April of 2021,  I faxed it in November of 2021, February 2022 and mailed a copy along with my payment in March. It's now been 5 weeks since I physically mailed a copy and it still isn't showing up on the site. They (IRS) decided to cash my check and add it to the astronomical amount they claim that I owe.....along with taking my refund for this year. 

Be careful. I can't get through to talk to anyone. I call every day. Representatives are never available to talk to and my 1040X has disappeared for the 5th time.  I've had to contact a lawyer which will cost a TON of money because there is no way for lawyers to get in touch with someone at the IRS. $200 an hour to remain on hold until someone decides to answer.
