The old DCN tracking numbers disappeared a few years ago.

The new MeF tracking number can only be obtained, with much difficulty, thru Customer Support when you encounter an IRS proof-of-filing conflict......or so we've been told

How can I contact IRS directly? I responded to CP53E which stated that I didn't have a valid account number, but I did and entered it again and was accepted,
