I had to mail my return in this year, it's been 2 weeks and yesterday it showed received on wmr. How long does it take to be approved?

You can give your employer a new W-4 form, so that fewer taxes are taken from your paychecks. That way, you get more money throughout the year, rather than all in a lump sum at tax time.
