I have completed my tax return but have not mailed it out. I have some edits to make, but this online version is not flexible enough to allow me to open my return.

When you sign into your account, you should see "File" on the left side bar

Click File and you should get to the page to start filing the return, 

DO NOT CLICK CONTINUE ON THIS PAGE, 

INSTEAD SCROLL DOWN AND CLICK BACK near the bottom left side of the screen

Keep clicking "Back" until you open the return

"File"does not appear on the left side.  The online version is very restrictive.  I will not use Turbotax next year.  When I used CD in past years, access to my return was unlimited even after preparing a copy for mailing.

Please see the screenshot I added to the original answer. As soon as you sign in, do NOT click to go into the return, instead, scroll down and look for the "Your tax returns and documents" file icon.
Yes,  I like the Desktop Program much more. Did you know that you can buy the Desktop program or download it?
