I have already gotten my federal returns so now most people at work got letters from the state so that they submit their W2 and passport copies but I didn’t get it so would like to know if is tha

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities,  There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.
