Is Tax Act 152 the same as the path act message?

@dvaughn0619 I just received my refund this evening. Wmr still says processing but netspend just sent me an alert saying it's on my card I called my card its there

@dvaughn0619 yes & the wmr still says processing had I not got the alert from netspend I wouldn't of known. I verified my identity on the 16th so I didn't take long at all

@meek0904 I haven't received anything from the IRS but if nothing has changed by tomorrow then I will be calling on Monday and see what the hold up is. I know there is a process but come on this crazy.

First check you're bank account for pending deposits if that doesn't work then call the IRS first thing Monday morning. Because there are thousands of individuals that are subject to review. It just means it will take 30 to 45 days longer beyond the 21 days.

I came to this conclusion perhaps the reason some tax filers are subject to recite are ones without real bank accounts or own a credit card because they both can be used for establishing credible identity. Next year open a bank account.

I meant subject to proving ones identity.

@cherylgilbert40 i used a netspend card this year & used my bank last year I waited longer last year. This year I did have to verify but I did that on the 16th got my refund today so it worked better for me using the netspend card

I had a 'refund will be provided when available' message and tax topic 152, no refund amount on the left. This morning it's gone and it's back to 'your refund has been received and is processing', i can see my refund amount now and it hasn't changed. Please tell me this is good news, ive called 3 times since being past my 21 days and they all say everything is fine, I just have to wait

Wait until Monday to call. and check your bank account for a refund or pending deposit OK.

@cintita720  we are in the same boat, my refund still says processing. MY refund has to go through Santa Barbara Bank for the fees to be taken out. If I don't see an update by 7:00 am Monday morning I am going to call and get a straight answer,

@cintita720 how long has it been since u filed & did u have to verify your identity?

@meek0904 i filed on 1/26, I've never gotten a letter to verify my identity and the times I called they said i didn't have to do any of that

@cintita720 ok I filed on 1/31 I verified my identity on 2/16 I got my refund yesterday but the wmr still said processing. I got it yesterday evening I was going crazy worrying but if u didn't get any letters audit or review u will get your refund don't lose hope I was starting to then I got the alert for a deposit.
