I got mail delivery confirmation from USPS that my return was received on 24 march. It has been 5 weeks since then yet its not showing on the website.

I got mail delivery confirmation from USPS that my return was received on 24 march. It has been 5 weeks since then yet its not showing on the website. Says no information available at this time. Should I be concerned?

Mailed returns take a long time to be processed. Be patient.

Yes, I know processing takes time but I'm only looking for receipt confirmation which is normally updated soon after they receive it.

These are not normal times. The IRS is severely backlogged. There are millions of 2020 tax returns that they haven't processed yet. They have said that they will try to clear the backlog by the end of 2022. Don't expect any kind of responsiveness from the IRS. You have proof that they received your tax return, so just relax and wait. And expect to wait a long time.
