I got an email confirmation that my file was pending. Never got an email saying it was received. When I checked the status online at TurboTax, it says I have no record.

yes, TurboTax seems to have made filing simple returns more difficult. I have used it for years, and now find that I did not actually file them!! TurboTax allowed a longtime user who is now a senior citizen, think he'd gone through the whole process correctly. May get a CPA next year.

I was able to verify through the IRS and my state that my return was received, but the information I got from TurboTax about not having any tax records was very concerning up to that point.

That's common to end up with multiple accounts.  First LOG OUT of whatever TurboTax account you're logged into right now. Then use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of user ID's for an email address.  Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used     https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery/

All that does is have me set up a new password.  I don't need a new password.
