I did a search for this question, and seems like everyone has a different scenario. I received a W-2c (corrected W-2) from my employer last week, and the only correction is in box 4 / Social Security tax withheld . All other fields in the W-2c are blank. Nothing else has changed, and I've had only one employer. On the W-2c, the Social Security tax withheld is larger than the previously reported amount withheld. ($5148 and $3530 respectively.) Do I still need to amend my 2020 return? Thank you.

This situation does NOT require amending as it changes nothing on your return.
