I got a direct deposit date of 2/24/2025 and paid for five days earlier when will I receive my refund?

My turbo tax date says 2/20 and if not received by 2/25 call my bank to see if it’s pending haven’t received an email or anything

I'm sorry they aren't being helpful. Keep in mind they must have phones ringing off the hook atp. If you do not have a confirmation of funds email today with a DDD of yesterday, then there may have been an issue with the offer rescinding. You may be getting a check in the mail. Please check your bar (TT tracker) and let me know what it says. The IRS date is faithful that is when your funds were sent. Just because you did not receive them does not cause for alarm...until tomorrow 2pm eastern time.

I will tell you that my check was mailed on 2/24 which is the date it said it would be in my bank so anyone who has this message will get there check mailed on the day it was supposed  to be deposited

What does your where’s my refund date say? That’s more faithful date then turbo tax estimated date.

I understand this isn't a typical experience. If your date is today please look at your TT tracker and let me know what it says. Keep in mind it is still early and the trend this year is afternoon/evening unlike the pther trends of midnight/morning in the previous years. Its possible to still receive you emails and refund once the ball rolls its within 3 hours.

Turbotax is not going to send your funds to your bank without confirming with you that that's where it went. The only bank they will give it to without your knowledge is their 3rd party partnering bank (who also won't be much help) until they can remove your fees and send it. Most likely if your funds are sent they are sitting in limbo collecting interest for the people who are holding it. If there is an error people are reporting paper checks have been received 5-7 business days after the DDD. If they did not receive your funds your issue is with the IRS for not sending them.

To be clear about what you are looking for on the TT bar for those who come later. You want the middle dot to say pending. We don't care about the dates or progress being accurate. We only care about the change (meaning your money is moving even if its not in your hands yet). If it says pending instead of approved that is a good sign if it is close to your DDD.

2/24 for direct deposit but was confirmed today by turbo tax it was mailed on 2/24 I was told I should receive  it by friday

Mine was mailed on Thursday and I have yet to receive it. So maybe by tomorrow

Yup they say it's on the way, but has to go through their processing first. It could take a few days extra. I'll never use TurboTax again. That is ridiculous.

They send it through their processing, which takes a few more days. Millions of people use TurboTax. So gotta wait longer. I won't use TurboTax again. That is ridiculous. Basically saying we got your refund, we will get it to you when we get it to you. I forgot this happened last year too, and I waited 8 days extra to get mine after the IRS sent it. Never again

They tried to send mine to my cash app on Thursday which rejected it because cash app closed my account for no reason.  Said check was mailed the same day.

Yea I asked them how they even had my return when the first was supposed  to deposit it straight to my account n the rep lies and said no we don't have it it's gonna be deposited  in my account and today when I called back another rep told me they had my money and was mailing me a check straight bs
