MAX is an optional add-on package for any paid version of TurboTax Online that offers a variety of benefits and personalized assistance after you file your taxes. Here's what you get:
- Full Audit Representation—TurboTax® has partnered with TaxAudit.com® to make sure you're not alone in the unlikely event of an audit. From the first notice, to completion of the audit, they'll handle everything for as long as your return can be audited, including:
- Developing a plan of action
- Following up with the IRS
- Preparing IRS documents for you
- Representing you in all IRS meetings
Membership Agreement
- Full Identity Restoration—To help protect you, our partner IDnotify™ (a part of Experian®) and their certified Identity Restoration Specialists will provide full-service identity restoration in the event of identity theft. If you even suspect there's a problem, a specialist will work with you to resolve your identity theft issue. Your specialist can help you with things like:
- Contacting the financial institution or agency that holds your accounts (like your bank, credit card company,? or Social Security)
- Notify law enforcement
- Review your credit report
- Assist with filing fraud alerts and freezing your credit
When purchased between November 1 - April 18, coverage lasts from the date of purchase through April 30 of the following year. When purchased between April 19 - October 31, coverage lasts from the date purchased through October 31 of the following year.
