I assume you are talking about a 1098T. If the amount paid for education is greater than the scholarships received, then you very well could be entitled to an education credit on your return.
Wait the get the original refund (and keep it) and then file an Amended return.
Once the return has been filed it cannot be stopped (unless you get extremely lucky and IRS would reject it for some reason).
So you have to wait for the return to be processed and you get your refund.
Then approx mid-February you can sign back into TurboTax and do the Amended return.
