Why are you trying to amend if the IRS has not received/processed your original return?  Amending is a process you should only use after your original return has been fully processed.  First you need to figure out what happened to the first return--do not cause even more confusion by trying to amend.

The way to look on the IRS site:

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 20 of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

The reason why i amending my 1040 I claimed my daughter when i was not suppose for 2019. I already filed my taxes, i owed this year 2019. So the amount has been debited already. She also, selected she was a dependent. toa parent when she should not have. Do i need to do a 1040X for her so she can get her stimulus check? My daughter is 18 the year of 2019.
