I filed my taxes in April 22 with ITIN for my 2 daughters. In Sept 22 I received SSN for girls. Can i file amendment and reclaim the child tax credit even if i did not ask for tax filing date extension to Oct 22.

Sorry, no.  They had to have a valid SSN before the due date of the 2021 tax return which was April 18, 2022.

The extension date was Oct-15, 22 but I did not ask for tax filing date extension. Sept 22 is within this deadline and this is the reason i feel I may be eligible to file amended tax return. just confirming.

Since you did not have a valid extension request for tax year 2021 the original due date is used.
