I filed my taxes 2 months ago. I received my state refund after 2 weeks, and still haven’t received my federal. What’s going on?

The IRS is seriously backlogged due to all the new tax laws and extra stimulus filings, as well as unprocessed 2019 returns left over from the COVID shutdown.  Lots of other folks are still waiting, so please continue to be patient.  Also see:

I am having the same problem... filed on 2/12/21 and nothing! I called every IRS number and it just hangs up on you.

Exact same thing here. Filed 03/02/21; received state back within a week. Nothing yet from federal. That is, other than a certified letter from the IRS stating that it was still being processed.
