You misunderstood.  TurboTax does not mail your tax return for you.   You can either fix the return and try to e-file it again, or you can print it, sign it and date it in ink, and mail it in YOURSELF.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses.  Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.

No, TurboTax doesn't print and mail anyone's tax returns. The reason is that when you print your tax return, you have to sign it in ink and there's no way anyone can do that for you. 

You need to sign in to your TurboTax account and follow the on screen directions to print and mail your tax returns yourself.
