I filed my own taxes and no one claimed me, however, I did press someone can claim me. Does that make me not eligible for the stimulus, even if they did not claim me?

I make less than 10,000 and do not live with my parents. I’m under the age of 25 so I could still be claimed but my parents did not claim me. I’m a full time college student.

Your parents can likely claim you as their dependent if they provide over 1/2 of your support. Otherwise, they probably cannot. 

Since you indicated that someone can claim you as a dependent, you will not qualify for a stimulus payment. What you can do is file an amended return to correct your dependent status and you will get the stimulus payments that are due you.

You should wait until your tax return is processed and you receive your refund if applicable before you file an amended return though.

Thank you! My parents did not claim me as I told them not to. They also provide no support at all. How soon would I get the stimulus check after I filed an amended? I noticed filing for one is not open until the 25th of this month.

It is hard to say how long an amended return will take to process. I filed three of them for a client of mine at the same time once and two of them were processed in a couple of weeks but one of them took several months. It will help that you can do it electronically in TurboTax this year, because before you had to mail them in and wait for them to be manually processed.
