I filed a amended federal tax return. it made me pay for a efile, which i didnt have to do. i needed to mail my return, but it made me pay to finish the return. help

There is no efile charge using TT online, and you cannot efile an amended return anyway.

Did you actually prepare a 1040Xm or just fix a rejected original return? Maybe you needed to upgrade for some reason.
