If my refund on the IRS website says still processing does it mean I will be audited?

That's really sad^^^ And I believe their doing it to the people who's the most strapped financially. I too had a 1099 and a W2, but the advocate said i have to wait 3 days until someone is assigned to my case...smh. If you owe the IRS they will shut you down if you don't pay them ASAP...really sad.

A tax Advocate. Google it and it's linked with the IRS put your state in and they'll give you a local number to contact a Tax Advocate.

Its called A Tax Payers Advocate, Google it and it'll have you put your state in and it has the local office you can call it's free and works with the IRS

Still no update or letter been since 1/24

I used turbo tax 5 yrs straight. I filed Jan 26th because I had all of my forms. I'm now in hold with a question of my 1099 and my w2. My mom filed ten days ago and already got state and federal. I received my State. I have a financial hardship with a open law suit due to a broken pelvis on my job. The one they are questioning. Isn't that a riot!!!! No letter no nothing. I had to hear from my Tax payer advocate what the issue was aftet being told my return was fine.

same here I filed feb.1st and still processing message, and tax topic 152 as the code at the bottom. Called them a week or so ago and they said i was selected for review and would be 45 days no letter or anything else to go by. From what I have been seeing on facebook and here most people that used turbo tax got this review not all but a ton of people have. Turbo tax hasnt mentioned it and probably wont but you can bet I will not use them again in the future. I WANT MY REFUND AND I WANT IT NOW..... This is a bunch of sh** and nobody will give you a reason or any damn info as a matter of fact. I say we all call Turbo Tax and ask why!

I filed 1/23 and still nothing no letter all they saying its under random review and if i dont get a letter stating I need more info or dont get my refund to call

I just spoke to th IRS. Due to the new tax laws, a huge number of filers are being reviewed this year. Like 80%. Especially those who claim credits like the EIC and child tax credits. So this is due to tax laws and procedures changing. 60 day review process.

80% doesn't sound right, and most of the new tax law tax law does not impact 2017.

80% sounds about right between all the threads I follow and everyone is stuck like us! Its very frustrating!
