The bank returned my refund how long wIl It take after Irs mails my check

I went through turbo tax and it left out one of my bank account numbers also. Now I won't check for weeks.

I had to end up getting a tax advocate. I put a trace on my refund instead of just waiting and it put a 6 week hold on my acct.

I had the same thing happen to me. When you spoke with the tax advocate did they help you get it faster?

I entered the wrong account number on turbo while doing my return. Was set for deposit on 27th. Yesterday and it was stopped rejected.  My bank says takes two business days for the IRS to get the funds back. So I guess Friday the IRS should get it.... My question is how long before I get a check from the IRS?

Yes Green Dot says takes two business days for it to return to IRS. So I'm hoping earliest wends day latest Friday. I will let ya know

It's annoying can never talk to a person. I am going to call IRS in the morning see if can tell me anything. This sucks big time can't wait to get a bank account .

I was on the phone for 45 min and when someone finally answered the connection was bad and they hung up. I called back and they wouldn't take my call, I had to push the number saying I was a business just to get someone on the line,  and they still didn't tell me anything.

My bank rejected my refund due to closed account on the deposit date/ 27th. TPG mailed my check the 28th.

omg I have the same issue but I have no update as to where my refund is now. I know it was sent to my bank on the 27th to an closed account and my bank returned it the next day but idk how to track it from there. do you know?

I just received my check today from Green Dot not the IRS . Thank God . So it was sapose to come on my card the 27 the. Got check today the 5th. So hopefully it's on its way to you

I had the same issue,  called my bank first to track the check I had to call my bank 3 times before someone could tell me anything,  found out that the irs tried 3 times to deposit it, my bank took 3 days before they sent it back, then they told me that it can take 2 to 3 days before the funds even show up to the irs account,  now I have to wait for the irs to send the check, irs  told me it can take up to 5 weeks to receive it. It all depends on how fast your bank sends the funds back and how fast the it shows up on the irs account.  My where's my refund updated today telling me that my refund was rejected by my bank. That's all I know right now. I have called everyday since the 27th and I just got answers yesterday.
