I entered my direct deposit info twice in the system and it states the bank routing numbers do not match. They were entered exactly the same. What should I do?

I have tried this several times, starting from scratch. Is this Turbo Tax's way to direct me to another means to receive my refund?

This is definitely not TT attempting to direct the way you receive a tax refund.  In fact, direct deposit is the preferred method that the IRS recommends for receiving your refund.

 

In which part of the program are you entering this direct deposit info?  Typically, this info is required right before you file your return.  Since the filing season hasn't even opened yet, I'd recommend that you wait until nearer the date (January 29) and try again.  I'll report this to TurboTax Moderators so it can be investigated.  There will definitely be a few glitches early in the filing season.

 

So sorry for the confusion.  It will be resolved, I assure you.
