I efiled and never got refund. Why is it delayed beyond normal time frame

@faithhopelovehca  Was your Federal (and/or State) return accepted?  If your return has been accepted, then only the IRS (and State) would know why your refund is delayed.  TurboTax does not get any additional information regarding the processing of your return/refund once your return has been accepted.

You can check the status of your Federal refund on the IRS website, Where's My Refund.

Hello

I think there was a mistake made in filing my 2021 taxes. it shows my income as $0 so  my return was changed to $0. when i did my taxes you guys said a return of $1400. was due.  What happened? I paid income tax in on my social security income. I should have been due a return. I received a notice from IRS stating that my return had been changed due to $0 income. that would be you guys.  please help me find my return.

I don't think it said zero income.  They changed something else.  

$1,400 is the amount of the 3rd Stimulus payment. Did you already get the Stimulus payment they sent out last year starting March 2021? Do you have 1,400 on 1040 line 30? You might have tried to claim it again. Line 30 is only if you didn't get the full amount or qualify for more.

Did you get IRS letter 6475 saying what they sent you? If you didn't get the IRS letter 6475 saying what they sent you then check your bank statements and check your IRS account to see when and what they sent you.

If you didn't get the 3rd Stimulus check but the IRS shows they sent it to you then request a trace for a missing third Stimulus payment
