the IRS might catch the onission and adjust your return accordingly.

if not, the only reason to amend would be if some of the SSI is taxable

if you need to amend wait until the original return is fully processed.

my return was substantial.

IRS approved my return.

I will keep my return in a separate account until the matter is resolved.
