I'd like to file my 2015 tax return on Turbotax. Is this possible online?

No, a 2015 return cannot be prepared and filed online with TurboTax.  It would have to be prepared in desktop software, and cannot be efiled.  It has to be printed, signed, and mailed.

You can purchase the 2015 desktop software (CD/download) directly from TurboTax at the link below, or you may be able to find it at a discount at a reputable online retailer like Amazon.

Be aware that Deluxe comes in 2 versions--a combo version with Federal and State, and a version that is Federal-only.  If purchased from TurboTax, it is the combo version with Fed and State.  If purchased elsewhere, you have to be careful to purchase the correct version you need.    The Basic Edition does not come with a state return and cannot import from ItsDeductible.

In the desktop editions there is a 24.99 fee to efile a state return (except no fee for New York state.)   There is no fee to print and mail the state returns.   (EDIT NOTE:  this state efile fee doesn't apply to a 2015 return, however, since a 2015 return cannot be efiled.)

I added a sentence above qualifying my last statement.  I had mentioned the state efile fee in the desktop product.  However, since this is a 2015 return, that fee would not apply, since the 2015 return cannot be efiled.  So please ignore the last sentence I had provided above.    I was in the habit of including that since most people are filing 2016 returns.   Sorry about that.
