What do you mean by "re-file?"  Was the return rejected?  If so you are not re-filing---you are filing it for the first time.  If you did file it, then you cannot file it a second time.

 

Assuming you mean you did not file it on time for a 2017 return, but you prepared it using online TurboTax, you need to use the same account and user ID that was used when the return was prepared.

 

 Online preparation and e-filing for 2017 is permanently closed.  You have to download 2017 software to a full PC or Mac (not to a mobile device) and then print, sign and mail your return.  If you already paid for your TurboTax software, you can contact customer support to push a download of the software to you.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS and/or your state received the return.

Have you forgotten how to get to the account?

 

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax?  If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.
