I ammended my 2018 taxes due to a late W2. With the new W2, I ended up with overpayment of social security, Where does the overpayment 1040 Line 17 show on the 1040X?

When I add the new W2, I get a schedule 5, which normally would show on Line 17 as a tax credit, but 1040X does not seem to be capturing this so I am not getting credit for the overpayment.

If your W-2 shows that you overpaid Social Security tax, you get this refunded from your Employer.

It is not part of your tax refund.
