I amended our 2021 taxes due to not entering the correct amount for the recovery rebate credit and now I am owed money - what forms do I need to send in?

You need to send in form 1040-X and a copy of your corrected form 1040 and the original form 1040. Mark the original form 1040 "Original" and the corrected For 1040 "Corrected."
