Once they open your amended return and get it in the system you can track it on the IRS website mentioned in the answer above. all you need is your social security number, birthday and zip code to access that information. Mailed in amended returns are taking much longer than normal to process, expect it to take 6 months possibly more.
A federal amended tax return, Form 1040-X, had to be completed, printed, signed, dated and mailed by you to the IRS.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

Thank you for this information. I realized I clicked the wrong category on the IRS website. Rather than selecting where is my amended return, I selected where is my return, hence my need for the new refund amount.
I was able to discover that my return was received in April, however, it has yet to be processed.
I assumed a delay once COVID took over.
