Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

I accidentally said I never filed for taxes before, but I realize I did 2 years ago and forgot to mention it. Is this a big deal? Should I file an amendment?

Question speaks for itself I think...just not sure how picky the IRS is.  Thanks for any help!

No, this isn't an issue. The question that you saw was asked by TurboTax in the interview section, but if you really filed a return and said you didn't, the IRS won't care. They're more interested in taxpayers who were supposed to file returns and didn't. Your 2016 tax return will stand on its own. No amendment necessary.
