I accidentally amended my taxes but have not mailed out anything. Wondering if I need to if I didn't mean to amend them at first. Would I still get my money

If I don't mail the paperwork for the amended taxes. Would I still get my money when I first filed my taxes on March 30.

You will get the original refund amount regardless if you file an amendment or not. They are treated as two separate returns. If you no longer need the amendment return go ahead and shred it. Amendment returns should be mailed after you receive the original refund. Let me know if you need more help.
