I have the downloadable version of Turbo Tax Home and Business. I filed my taxes last month and now have a surprise W2 from a company I terminated from on Dec 31st 2017. Apparently monies earned in 2017 are taxed in 2018. These monies were not included in the 2018 filing electronically. Because I'm not using the hosted cloud version of TurboTax, how do I amend the filing? There is no help with the software. I suspect I need to mail - but do I just print off, or is there a special TurboTax form?? The W2 I just received only added $16 MORE to my refund on an original $2200 refund. Should this even be filed? How will the IRS view the missed W2, when it's in the favor of the taxpayer? I want to do the right thing here.

since the error is in your favor, you can ignore the new W-2 and do nothing.
You will be giving up $16.
Moreover, IRS may correct your return for you.
