How will I know when I will receive my refund when I mailed it in but TurboTax says that it is e-filed?

I filed married jointly and I’m a u.s. citizen and my spouse is a lawfully present resident In the state of Alabama.

How will I know when I will receive my refund when I mailed it in but TurboTax says that it is e-filed?

Not sure what is going on with your return-----did you try to e-file and was it rejected?   Why did you mail it?   And ----does TurboTax actually say you "e-filed" or does your account just say it was "filed", "printed"or "ready to mail?"   Does it say "accepted?"  

 

No matter how you filed, TurboTax never updates with information from the IRS.  Once you file your return, TT is done.  You have to watch the IRS refund site yourself to track your refund.   Mailed returns take longer.

 

 Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

 

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2023 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
