How to remove a person as a dependent on my taxes?

You can remove a Dependent from your return by following these instructions:

• Log into your Turbo Tax Online account.
• Select "Take me to my return"
• Click "My Info" located on the left side of your screen
• Click "Delete" (the trash can symbol) next to the Dependent

If you already filed your Tax Return and it was accepted with the Dependent, you will need to Amend your return.  You can click here for instructions on Amending your tax return: How to Change a Tax Return You Already Filed.  Start the Amendment process first, and then follow the steps above.
