Are you using Online TurboTax as opposed to desktop software?

And have you already filed or not?   If you have already efiled, and if the return was accepted, it's too late to make changes.   If the return was rejected, then you can make changes and resubmit.    Or if it has not been filed at all, you can make changes prior to filing.

If you have not yet filed, but TurboTax thinks you were finished so your return interview is closed, here's how to open it back up to continue and edit.   At the Tax Home page look for a link "Add a State."   That doesn't really add one, but will open the return interview so you can make changes.  Again, this is if your return has not yet been filed.
