How to get my last years tax return document which I filed using the TurboTax Premier application?

Last year I bought TurboTax Premier (with CD). Installed it to my laptop and filed my taxes. Now I don't have that laptop and not able to find the tax return document for last year. I do have a login id and password but online turboTax does not show any information filed via this store-purchased offline application. So how do I get these details?

Unfortunately, the *.taxYYYY return data files created in the desktop products are not available in an online account.  They are stored locally on one's computer and/or on any backup drives/media you may have archived them on.   When using desktop products, it's a good idea to keep backup copies of both the *.taxYYYY data file and a PDF for easy viewing.

 At the IRS website you can get a transcript of past Federal returns, which might be beneficial.  You can get one online if you have an IRS account, or by mail.  See the info at this page:

For a past state return, you'd have to check with your state's tax agency/website for their procedure.
