How long to sue IRS for refund?

I’ve had to wait much too long for my refund, and still haven’t received, I’m considering suing. Is there a statutory timetable to initiate a Federal lawsuit for a filers refund?

You cannot sue the IRS. The IRS can delay any refund for as long as thy want. The are required to pay interest on any refund delayed beyond the due date of the tax return when paid.
