How long does it take to get a refund once it's released from a hold?

Our refund was held due to my husband not filing from 2013-2015 and today I called, and the IRS told me they had received the past returns and released the hold on our 2018 refund today....can anyone tell me how long it usually takes to deposit in our acct once it's released?

Since you have already filed and the returns have been accepted, would estimate that you will have your return less than two weeks if is direct deposit. Three to four weeks if a paper check by mail.
