How long after the bank rejects my refund will it take the IRS to issue me a paper check

Hello everyone I finally recieved my check today in the mail. Again my DDD was 2/27/19 it was sent back to the irs due to the fact I had too many #'s in my checking account number. The WMR status updated on Monday the 4th for me first telling me it would be mailed "BY" the 8th of March and then it updated a second time on March 11th saying it was mailed out on the 8th (the check is also dated March 8, 2019) And I recieved it today. So it was a total of 14 days from the original deposit date. I hope this helps and good luck to everyone.

Mines still showing that it was deposited in my bank. My bank rejected my dd on the 27th and was sent back to irs. They just received it yesterday i thought maybe my status on wmr will be updated by now

@lovelyjneira I researched online the the update, dates. And verified in groups who would get updated. The 2 times I've gotten updated has been the weekend. I've never gotten any updates when people have mid week.

I called irs in the 12th i was told they received it and someone was working on it but it's still no update on my wmr after my refund was dd in my bank and rejected on the 2/27th

@lovelyjneira Mine rejected 2/27 Recieved Cp53b letter 3/18 was told 10 weeks from the letter date. Mine returned to its 2/28 so I'm in the same both. Nothing here!

Our bank rejected my husband and I’s taxes becuz his name was on the account and my name was listed first on taxes (we filed married jointly and have different last names) they sent them back on 2/25 irs received them on 2/27 and I still have not got an update nor a check in the mail and it’s been 5weeks since my original dd date. I have called the irs and all the can tell me is it can take up to 8-10 weeks to receive the check... I am very irritated to say the least.

@irsisajoke I'm in the exact same boat as you same day and all.. The IRS said if they keep it longer than 10 weeks they have to pay interest so I'm assuming the middle to the end of April we should receive a paper check... I'm irritated as well and know I won't let this happen again either lol...

I received the letter about it taking 8-10 weeks after the letter to receive the check but don’t remember when I received it nor do I think I have it anymore.. smh! I definitely won’t let it happen again. I’m in the process of my last name being changed and from now on my husband and I will both be on everything...ugh!

Most likely the 18th that's when we received our letter. I have also changed my name to his as well for no further issues.

@irsisajoke your name is very accurate  to say the least lol but did you say you received two different letters? I only got the cp53b letter saying they tried to deposit my money but it rejected. 8-10 week crap
