How do I remove a W-2 form?

To remove a W-2 that you entered, just click on Federal on the lefts side of the program screen.  Then click on Wages & Income.  On the W-2 section, click on the Edit/Add button.  Click on the trash can symbol to delete the W-2.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen

Click on Tools

Click on Delete a form

‌You can easily remove your Form W-2 as DoninGA shows above.  I have included some additional information regarding this below.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can:

1. Select "Wages & Income" under the Federal Tab in the top (gray) bar on your screen
2. Select "I'll Choose What to Work On"
3. On your "Income Summary", next to "Wages & Salaries" select "Update" or "Start"
4. To delete your W-2 select "Delete" next to your W-2.

If you are using TurboTax Online  you can:

1. Sign into your return
2. Click on" Pick up where you left off"
3. On your left panel select "Wages & Income"
4. Next to your W-2 select" Add/Edit"
5. Select the trash can to delete your Form W-2.
