How do I remove a dependent who was already claimed without me knowing

Her father claimed her without informing me first. I usually claim her so now my return is rejected so how can I remove her

Go to the My Info section of the program, shown on the left side of the program screen and delete the dependent

If you have filed your tax return and then discover that you have to delete a dependent you will have to wait until the IRS either accepts or rejects your tax return.    

Because your return was rejected you will correct the error that caused the rejection (your dependent) by removing the dependent and then refile your return. 

If the return was accepted by the IRS then you will have to file an amended tax return using Form 1040X to remove the dependent and then file your tax return.
