If your Medicare premiums are reported on your Form SSA-1099, you should enter them as follows:
- Sign in to TurboTax and choose continue or Pick up where you left off
- On the left side bar, choose Federal and then Wages & Income
- Scroll through the Income section and choose Retirement Plans and Social Security
- Select Start/Revisit next to Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099)
- Choose Yes on the screen Did you receive Social Security or Railroad Retirement benefits in 2024?
- Walk through the interview questions and enter your Form SSA-1099

If you paid the medicare premiums directly, then follow these steps to enter them:
- Sign in to TurboTax and choose continue or Pick up where you left off
- On the left side bar, choose Federal and then Deductions & Credits
- Select Start/Add/Edit next to Medical Expenses
- Walk through the interview questions and enter your Medicare premiums as Medical insurance premiums
